THANK YOU, I have no idea how I did it either!!! To be fair I've always been intrigued by monks with tonsures and I really adore the design of the monks from the game Pentiment, so that was definitely a huge inspiration. I believe that theres a weird, hot rat energy to Wenzel that transcends his haircut. I'm here to deliver lots more hot tonsure action in the future.

For someone who loves dark medieval themes I've actually never played Dark Souls! (I'm not very good at high difficulty rpgs, I hate when things come at me) But I vaguely know these characters and I believe you would be correct hahaha I think Gallant would definitely approve. I feel like its essential viewing so I will have to watch a playthrough at some point!

OHOHOho I'm not sure how much I should share because the skin book is very central to the plot of the comic! I think I can say that the book that Wenzel carries around is actually bound in the skin of the person who wrote it.

OH I love this question!! I hate to inform you that Wenzel does not have the voice of an angel. His singing voice is very monotonous and flat (absolutely tone deaf) so the other monks have not invited him to join the choir. I'll have to see if I can find some kind of voice claim to properly figure out what he sounds like. While not a talented singer, he is however quite good at drawing! When he's not doing his contracted devil hunting work, they've often got him working on illustrating manuscripts in the scriptorium!

I'm assuming this is about Gallant or perhaps Wenzel?? EITHER WAY THANK YOU I will not be stopping haha!

OOHHHH such a good question! I don't think Wenzel is the best at picking up on certain social cues, especially if its about his personal interests (He's always on that damn tome!) so I'd say that what you've described is absolutely accurate ahahaha! The other monks have learned not to start conversations with Wenzel for that very reason. If Wenzel's order knew the full extent of what he's learnt from that book, he'd be in a lot of trouble so he's had to be careful about what he chooses to share.

Doing my best without giving too much away, Wenzel refuses to look at Gallant's face behind his mask and does not want Gallant touching him. Gallant doesn't quite understand why.
