Hello, hello! My name is Kayla, though I have accumulated a vast array of titles and nicknames in my time. I will answer to pretty much anything and everything, as long as its respectful. I have been on the outskirts of the witchcraft community for a very long time. starting out with astrology and birthchart analysis at the ripe old age of 15 (give or take). 12 years have passed since then, Oops, i just aged myself, and I have only recently, within the last two or three years, actually delved into the witchcraft community to learn from others and share my own knowledge. What started as a small interest in the stars has blown into a hyperfixation on all things occult.

Now my practice has grown in ways I would never have expected while I was still on my own. I specialize still in astrology and birthchart analysis, but have expanded my repertoire to include tarot, shadow work, and deity worship and work among many other things. While I am still learning and broadening my horizons, I pride myself on my extensive knowledge that I already have from the past 12 years of research I have done on a wide array of topics. Though I may not know everything about a specific topic, I can promise you that I know enough to at least set you on the right path to learning more on your own.

I am excessively ADHD and I have a toddler, so I rely heavily on the tumblr queue to keep things active here. I either exist in a persistent state of chaos, or I cease to exist entirely for a few days and there isnt much in-between. Due to this, it may take me a minute to respond to any asks that are directed my way. I promise I am not ignoring you and I will get to it as soon as my brain actually allows me to do so.

I initially created this community as a means for my friends and me to be able to share what we know with each other in order to further our practices, but what started as a small, close-knit discord and evolved into something I never would have expected. I strive to make a healthy and safe environment for all, regardless of background or belief. i pride myself predominantly on my ability to accept all walks of life, to learn from them, and to them share what I have learned with others. There is not a question that could be asked that I will not do my best to answer.

I recently found out my mother has brain cancer and is in need of surgery to remove and biopsy the mass. As it is situated behind her eye, she will be losing the eye as well.

I've noticed with a lot of the newer tarot readers that I see around is that the tend to focus on only one card at a time. When doing spreads, they look at the question and the card and say "this equals that", like everything is just a bunch of straight lines, when, in reality, it's more like noodle soup. Lines are connecting everything in more than just one way.

Not only do you have to connect the question to the card, but you also have to look at how that answer interacts with other answers you've gotten and how it'll affect your interpretation of the following answers.

It is always such a joy being there to see tarot readers evolve and grow, and I see understanding that a reading is much more like a private eye's cork bord than a cut and dry equation as one of the fundamental milestones a reader has to pass in order to truly provide excellent readings.
