❝ don’t you ever get lonely…? ❞

The vastness of the cosmos stunned Rerir. Being expelled past the reflection of the moon, far past the border that protected Teyvat, he felt like a small speck of dust within the stars. Oh, the sights he had seen and wished he could somehow tell his beloved. Space brought a cold comfort as the voices that plagued his mind had gone silent, as well as his need for revenge and his anger subsided. His mind was clear.
Yet, being picked up by a vast locomotive machine, or that was what was told to him by a small creature serving as a conductor.
To think such advanced worlds lay beyond Teyvat, Rerir never thought of glancing up at the stars and thinking they were other worlds. It seems that even these places have shared power known as Paths.
It was then that the trailblazer asked something.
"Of course I do. I think every living thing with a heart will know loneliness one way or another." It was a simple answer, but he didn't wish to speak on his personal experiences. These people were kind; they didn't need to know how awful a person he truly is.
"I should get off at your next stop."
