Tribal Leaders, Have you heard any of the Players tell you these strange saying where they're from (ie, like saying something is "raising red flags", or "breaking a few eggs to make an omelette)? If so, did you ask them what those saying mean and if they make any sense now?
Aszil: I once heard a player talking about doing jobs under the table. I was confused until they explained that what meant (off of records). It made sense, we have plenty of markets under the table in Perim, including Mount Pillar.
Theb-Sarr: The saying ‘water under the bridge’. That human boy Peyton said it and I was confused. We were in the middle of the Mipedim desert, there are no water bridges. In fact, there are no bridges out there, period. Which is why I was more confused when one of his friends said, ‘we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.’ Did it make sense to me when explained what they meant? ...Not quite.
Maxxor: Tom once used ‘Cat caught your tongue’. He told me what it really meant, and it made sense for the context. Although, it sounded like he was mocking Tangath... And I still don’t completely understand it.
Chaor: Once heard a player tell another ‘Someone’s got their heart in their mouth’. Turned out it just meant being scared, but I thought she meant it literally and was impressed for a moment. Still, I think it makes a lot of sense.

Gal’Drad: One of those nuisance humans told our young a slew of fish idioms. When they were using ‘bigger fish to fry’, ‘big fish in a small pond’, ‘plenty of fish in the sea’, and ‘like shooting fish in a barrel’, my clansmen and I believed the outsider had taught them slurs. We understand their meanings now but are thoroughly unamused.
