LOCATION → New York City; Ben's performance, dinner, hotel.
TIME FRAME → July 27, 2013 (Night)
SUMMARY → The boys go for another "not" date after Benjamin's recital at the Plaza, taking things to a new level in their "not" relationship.
Gabe wished Kurt and Elijah, and Ben’s sister, an enjoyable evening before setting off to the area designated for meeting up with Benjamin— making a quick detour to the street vendor he noticed just outside and purchasing the most vibrant rose he could find. They were all beautiful, but one stood out above the rest, literally standing taller than the flowers around it. It reminded him of Benjamin in a way; nice to look at but carrying a sort of effortless nobility about itself. Gabriel wasn’t able to hold back his breathy, albeit a tad bit pathetic, sigh at the recollection of Ben doing what he did best up there—being incredible. Twirling the flower between his slender fingers and smirking fondly when he came back to the sarcastic submissive waiting for him, punctual as always, looking better than a Jewish cellist had a right to.Â

Notes: Ben and Gabriel put their game of cat and mouse on pause.
Gabe took a bit longer getting ready for Benjamin then he cared to admit; running a hand through his damp, slightly styled haired repeatedly until he was satisfied with the way his chestnut locks fell against his forehead. His jeans were pressed perfectly, tailored to his lengthy limbs and considered just a notch dressier than casual. He wore a hunter green t shirt that paired well with his translucent emerald eyes, under his favorite summery cardigan and had opted for his favorite French cologne— where he typically wore something by Ralph Lauren. Gabe didn’t take much with him, he didn’t need to, so with that he slipped his iPhone into his back pocket and grabbed his keys— hopping into a pair of his worn in Vans and running a hand through his hair just one more time before taking a last shaky intake of air. He needed to relax. Gabriel found Ben’s door sooner rather than later; giving the expensive oak wood a prompt knock and bringing his thumb up to chew habitually on the tip.
