Prompt: After mocking her for her chest, Stacy finally takes a stand against Rumble.
Word Count: 1,524
Warnings: Suggestive! Plus, Rumble is a bit of a bully here. (Duh).
Several weeks had passed on Earth since Megatron allowed the newest and squishiest recruit into the Decepticon ranks. In Rumbleâs opinion, it was too long. Much too long without terminating her. Sure, Stacy provided them with valuable knowledge of her planet as well as dedicating her loyalty to the cause. However, despite everything, she was still a human, merely a toy to play with until she broke.Â
In fact, the only positive aspect about her was that she was very easy to taunt. Whenever she grew angry, her hair became unruly while her green eyes glowed with such heat and passion. Her shoulders shivered, and her tiny feet tapped so quickly on the ground beneath her.Â
For such a small creature, she certainly had a bite to her. Unfortunately, that was a problem for Rumble. It wasnât as though he liked her. No, he simply couldnât stop thinking about her. No matter what he tried, he just couldnât rid her from his processor. When his optics closed, she was there. When his optics opened again, they darted in every direction just to find her, searching for that constant, wily smirk on her face.
What has she done to him?
âRumble, eject!â
Once the mini-cassette was released from Soundwaveâs chest-plate, he began to work on chasing the fleeing human for Megatronâs latest plot to abuse Earth. He grinned, nearly about to pounce on the panting, whimpering man until a particular line of dialogue from the nearby television screens caught his attention.
âFLATTIE!â
Rumble paused, slowing for a moment to turn his helm and glance at the TV sets behind the wall of a shop. Eventually, he stopped completely once he noticed that one of the humans on the screen almost looked like Stacy. It wasnât her, and yet she had the same frame as her.
âOh, shut up, Mark! Iâm not flat!â
But the man beside her chuckled.
âYes, you are.âÂ
Rumble watched in confusion as the actor cupped his own chest in a mocking sort of way.
âI mean, my tits are bigger than yours!â
Rumble hummed, considering.
âAâŠflat chest?â
It seemed odd to him. Was this an example of a human beauty standard? Before he could think for a second longer, however, that was when Soundwave called for him.
âRumble. Target acquired?â
The purple mech stammered, embarrassed when he realized that he was thinking of Stacy yet again.
âUh, y...yeah, Soundwave! Iâm on it!â
With that, he sprinted down the cityâs alleyway in the darkness of the night.
After another defeat by the Autobots, Rumble sulked alone throughout the Decepticon base. He frowned and mumbled to himself, even wincing once he was reminded of Megatronâs fury. It wasnât pleasant in the slightest, and he cursed Optimus Prime for gaining another victory.Â
Unfortunately for him, his misfortune didnât end right away.Â
âOof!â
Someone bumped into him, and it was someone small, too. Rumble turned to meet Stacyâs hardened gaze, her hair tied in a bun while she adjusted the lab coat around her body. As she recovered, the short mech stared at her curiously.
âHey!â She scoffed, fixing her glasses. âWatch where youâre going, you imbecile!âÂ
Already frustrated, Rumble didnât hesitate to immediately fire back at her.
âHow about you get out of my way, FLATTIE?â
That was when something in the atmosphere shifted, something significant. Stacy froze, blinking quickly as a low squeak emitted from her lips. Once movement returned to her body, she squirmed out of discomfort, the skin on her pale face deepening to a light shade of red.Â
âWhat are youâŠreferring to?â
Pleased that the insult actually worked, Rumble grinned.
âDonât act dumb. We both know what I mean.â
He approached her slowly, towering over her despite their closeness in height. His red optics focused on the subtle mounds on her chest, covered only by a thin layer of fabric.
âYouâre shy about those tiny things, huh?â
The scientist pulled away from him, her arms moving to shield her chest from him. The faint shade of pink on her cheeks darkened as she hugged herself, gritting her teeth while the Deceptionâs snickers developed into laughter.
âI donât have time for this.â She pouted. âWhatever, Rumble.â
Stacy turned on the heel of her shoes before making her leave in the opposite direction, obviously desiring to make as much distance between them as possible. Meanwhile, Rumble still chuckled.
âWhat? Canât handle the truth?â
When the white from her lab coat vanished from the hallway, he continued to grin, feeling accomplished.
It didnât take long for Stacy to grow tired of Rumbleâs mocking. They were annoying, repetitive, and even hurtful. As a mad scientist, Stacy didnât regard herself as particularly emotional. However, she supposed that she could make an exception on some occasions. She was a human, after all.
Rumble was not only bothering her, he was pissing her off.
âHey, Flattie? Megatron wants you.â
âHey, Frenzy, whatâs flatter? An aircraft runway or the pipsqueak?â
âFlattie! Flattie! Flattie!â
Now forced beyond her limits, the lady decided to seek someone else out for aid.Â
In the control room, Stacy stood below Soundwave with her hands on her hips. She shifted her weight from one shoe to the other, antsy and eager to find a solution to the problem at hand.
âHey.â She lifted her chin. âArenât you gonna do something about the brat?â
For a long and uncomfortable moment, he said nothing. Stacy was used to such reactions from him. He was a most peculiar Decepticon. However, he paused to think for much longer than what was necessary. And what followed next confirmed her fears.
âNegative.â
Stacy gawked, even when she wasnât all that surprised.Â
âWhat? Why not? Heâs your mini-cassette!â
Soundwaveâs cold gaze cut through her like a sheet of paper.
âStacy is capable.â
The scientist blinked, uncertain of how to respond. Afterwards, however, she sighed and turned around, waving a hand at him to signify that she understood him.
âAlright. Fine.â
Although she was aware that Rumble was a jerk that was compensating for his size among an army of giants, she figured that there would be no harm in knocking him down just a bit. Figuratively? Literally? She didnât care.
No longer would she be an easy target.Â
From now on, she would continue to prove her place within the ranks.
Deep inside the Decepticon base, Rumble hummed to himself. Recently, he finished downing a healthy dose of energon, feeling rejuvenated. After pummeling Autobots to the ground time after time again, he had to admit that his free time was totally warranted.Â
However, it was also quite boring.
Rumble frowned, unsure of what to do for fun. Seconds later, however, the face of a particular human formed inside his processor, and he grinned.Â
Why didnât he just bother Stacy?
But before he could even take another step forward, there was a clang and a boom. From the hallway, the mech readied himself and made a frantic turn upon hearing the sound of drilling and other heavy machinery. After making his way through the parting doors, he found Stacy. She was gowned in her usual lab attire, working on another experiment for the Decepticon cause. Using large, mechanical servos that acted as extensions of her own hands, she focused on the gadget residing on the platform in front of her. Stacyâs mind was utterly glued to the project, and it prompted Rumble to smirk at her efforts.
Feeling confident, he sauntered inside, his optics scanning the serious expression on her face. He approached her until he was now at her side.Â
âSo, whatcha up to, Stacy?â
Although he waited for the sound of her delicate voice, he quickly became disappointed when she remained silent instead. She didnât even look at him, not acknowledging his presence in the slightest.Â
âWhat?â Rumble tried to laugh. âGiving me the silent treatment? Come on!â
As sparks flew and monitors buzzed, she moved the servos attached to her hands, nearly hitting him in the process. Unsatisfied, the mini-cassette huffed.
âAnd you call me immature.â
Thankfully, that was when she finally glanced at him from the corner of her luminous, green eyes.
âBusy.â
Rumble smirked.
âOh. Yeah. Sure.â He stepped a bit closer until he was close to her ear. âYou know, with a chest as flat as yours, I bet-â
It all happened too fast for him to process. Stacy growled and then proceeded to swing her arms about, landing a punch with her artificial servos directly to his face. The force was so sudden and so mighty that it rendered him immobile. He fell to the ground. And before he went offline, he noticed a dazzling smirk glistening across her face.
âRumble? Hey, Rumble! You there?â
The mini-cassette groaned and rubbed his helm. After lifting himself only slightly, he looked to his brother and hummed silently.Â
âI saw the human storm off, and you just came back online.â Frenzy was curious. âWhat the frag did you do?â
Rumble thought for a moment. And then, he smiled like a complete moron, a feeling of delightful weightlessness overcoming him.
