i just want to say that you are the kind of g&s nerd I aspire to be. like. you are the first person to come up when I search gilbert and sullivan on Tumblr lol :3 what's your favorite g&s show? bc mine is either HMS pinafore or iolanthe
I haven't seen/heard all of them yet actually! So far I've got Pirates of Penzance, The Mikado/Il Ducato, Pinafore, Trial By Jury, and Iolanthe- and I did just youtube The Yeomen of the Guard the other day, so that brings my total up to six out of the thirteen. (It would have been seven, but the production of Patience I was so looking forward to seeing got canceled, and I am still a little salty about that.)
I think I've also got a tie for favorite out of these- either TBJ or Iolanthe. I have a soft spot for the former just because I was in it back in my voice-student days, honestly XD
