Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset Review
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]“LOGITECH G PRO GAMING HEADSET
The first Logitech G headset to carry the PRO name is designed in collaboration with the world’s top professionals. The PRO Headset is built with the highest quality materials and advanced technologies to provide audio performance that is second to none.”
Logitech has just released a new PRO headset. It looks alot like the G433 so what’s different on these? From a first look the Logitech Pro headset has an all black look with a matt finish. Absolutely stunning. The plastic is feels very durable and should be able to last. This is marked as “gaming” headphones so it’s only right that it should. The Headset has a leatherette ear cup but has replacement cloth cups if that is not to your liking. The headset is perfect for PC and Console gaming, It has a 3.5mm jack that manages your sound and mic for consoles and you receive a splitter for when you want to use it on your PC.
The headset seem to be very specific built. Built for gaming. The headset has some form of surround sound but I would not call it surround as it is not designed for that. The surround on the g433 is way better . It also doesn’t have drivers for the Logitech gaming software. So what’s the point of this you may ask? This is what you use when you are only using it for gaming and not watching movies etc. The Drivers deliver crystal clear sound that helps you hear every bit in a game, be it the footsteps of your enemy or a monster lurking around the corner. I did however notice that at max volume (don’t know why you would use it at max volume all the time as you will surely develop hearing problems as its really loud) there are some slight distortion but only on high pitched sounds. The noise canceling on these cans are about 60 -70% which is fair. It should be enough to just just cancel out the noise coming from the lounge when your wife/girlfriend or even mom is calling.
The headset is very comfortable and even after a couple of hours there is no pressure on your ear itself as the cups are big enough to go over your ears. The cups are also firm but soft enough not trouble you in your long gaming sessions. The headband can expand to fit almost any size as an uncomfortable headset is just a bad headset.
The microphone on the headset is detachable and connects via a 3.5 mm jack. The headset is very flexible to suit any mic position. It does make you like a bit like a pilot with the cushion in front but that helps deliver crystal clear audio. The mic quality is absolutely top class and your voice will definitely not be missed in your next clan match or pub. I even tested it with long voice calls on skype and the voice and sound was just perfect
Overall this is a great, purpose built headset. If you plan on upgrading your gaming headset I would strongly recommend the Logitech G Pro. The sound delivery is great. The mic is top class. The headies sits comfortably and does not bug you after a couple hours of solid gaming. Plug and Play and game away. Would I pay this much for pretty much stereo headphones?
