Planted seeds in the pots and watered them on Friday, and then left them alone for a couple of days to grow (aka went to Afro Banana Festival for the weekend).
(from left to right: wheat, wheat, barley, barley, lettuce)
When I came back to check on them on Monday, the wheat in the first pot had started growing, but the rest of them hadn’t. It’s quite possible I messed up with planting the seeds, maybe a bit too deep or too shallow? I’m not sure. I’ve brought two of the pots back home with me to plant fresh seeds and keep them close to observe their growing.
First night in Fytorio...

Just moved in to my new temporary studio at Φυτώριο Εικαστικής Καλλιέργειας (Fytorio) in Nicosia! Let’s get this show on the road.
Currently doing a residency at Φυτώριο Εικαστικής Καλλιέργειας (Fytorio / Greenhouse) in Nicosia. Preparing a bunch of new (and old) work to be looked at at the space.
Apparently we’ll be given a slot sometime in September / October for an exhibition based on works produced during the residency, which will be nice.
If you’re in Nicosia, pop by over the next two weeks to say hi!
