Okay, criminals caught, pictures taken, paycheck collected...And I have just enough time to make it back for dinner with Aunt May and Mary Jane. Seems like everything’s going smoothly for the time being!

...Hope I didn‘t just jinx myself.

Peter was on his way to Queens from The Bugle, where his aunt and wife were waiting for him. It had been awhile since they’d visited her, especially because he’d been gone for awhile on an interdimensional trip to save the multiverse with Madame Web. Stopping Spider-Carnage was no easy mission, but he’d done it. As a reward, Madame Web had helped him locate MJ from parts unknown. Now he had the woman he loved back in his life. And for awhile, things had been quiet and peaceful. And for the first time in awhile, Peter was happy. With his life. With himself.

He swung through the city, his movement agile and graceful. A few flips here and there for the heck of it. Running along the side of a building then descending a bit to shoot out another web-line.

Aw, quit your worrying, Parker. Mary Jane is finally back. And there hasn’t been a supervillain sighting for months! Still, I shouldn’t take this lightly, either. Knowing my luck, something’ll definitely take me by--.

Suddenly, his spider-sense goes off, making him falter a bit and look back mid-swing.

“Huh? Spider-sense?”

He comes back around, landing on a nearby rooftop with a crouch. He then stands, looking around for the source of what made his spider-sense blare. Peter furrowed his brows behind his mask in confusion.

Harry had invited Peter over for a night of pizza and just the two of them like they’d used to do when they were younger. The two of them would sit and talk for hours about anything and everything. Nights like this happened a lot fewer and far between now, but he was glad they still happened. They were both busy in their own lives doing their own thing, but their friendship had endured despite all odds.

Alex isn't usually one to avoid work, game nights, or sister nights. She hasn't left her apartment in three days.
