I do really like characters that have that bit of tragedy in them (hence the team...). So here's futureseer that often gets overwhelmed by what he sees

All the teachers at the NightWing academy were stumped. They told him his future vision must be broken. They said none of the Queen's seers could see such a thing. They told him his imagination was overactive.

It seemed like no one in the entire City of Night would believe him, but his visions were too vivid to be anything but real. Maybe it wouldn’t happen in the next few years, but he knew it would happen. Maybe a hundred years in the future. Maybe a million.

Futureseer tossed and turned on his shallow bed. Every night, it was the same: a land covered in rocks and magma, lifeless, with no dragons in sight. Fire burst from the ground and scorched the earth over and over. An entire planet, suffocating under the immense heat of the sky. A part of him always knew he wasn’t really there, but the heat on his scales felt all too real.

When Futureseer awoke, it was still bright outside; he had woken up too early. He’d pretty much given up on getting a full night’s sleep since the visions started. There was a small brown bird on his bedpost, who had likely entered through his open window.

“Get out of here,” muttered Futureseer.

The little winged creature chirped and trained a curious eye on him.

“Dumb bird,” said Futureseer. “You don’t even know the world is going to end.”

He uncurled himself and got out of bed, startling the bird. It leapt off of its perch and flew back outside. Futureseer followed it to the window, where he could see the tough little trees that grew in the craggy valley. The insects were chirping loudly, and the sky was purple with sunset. The bird flittered through the trees, making use of the last of the sunlight. Futureseer stood there for a while, watching the bird.

“Futureseer?” said someone from outside his room’s door.

He sighed. “Yes, come in.”

His mother, Nightflier, peeked around the door. “You’re up early,” she said.

“So are you,” muttered Futureseer.

Nightflier walked to Futureseer’s side. “I have good news, Futureseer,” she said. “I’ve been talking to the scientists at the palace. They said there are treatments that can enhance or reduce a seer’s abilities! They’re mostly experimental, and they’re… well… they’re pretty expensive. But maybe they’ll finally help you sleep.”

“Great,” said Futureseer.

Nightflier rubbed Futureseer’s shoulder. “You’re such a strong young dragonet,” she said.

“Okay, mom,” Futureseer said, wearily.

“I’ll get breakfast ready,” she said. “Come down soon before it gets cold, okay?”

“Okay.”

I see the future. Okay....cool....but its not like i just look into it and can predict your life. When there are large moments of emotions and energies I get random visions or knowlegde of what they're going to do next and how it'll happen.

I just want to say that you wont understand that pain comes with this ability. To know what is going to happen to someone and it not be a positive outcome sucks. It makes it a lot harder that my mind JUST KNOWS what someone is doing sometimes...outta nowhere....and knowing its not good....the worst is when it's strong enough that you kinda see it..........................................I love the gifts that I have. I do not regret them. No, I can't look at someone and know what's gonna happen to them if I want to, it happens when it happens. I don't control it.
