Concept: I wake up with the sun and the sound of magpies warbling outside my window. I peel myself out from under the blankets and the many sleeping cats. Wandering into the kitchen, I turn on the coffee machine. My love is returning home from FIFO today, and I’ve just spent the last few days seeing my other love, and some of my friends. I have dinner in the slow cooker and decide to bake cookies that afternoon, and maybe read some of my book. I have the day off work and can get ready for the day slowly. The house is clean. There is wine chilling. No one is shouting or crying. I am content.
Today's mood for consideration:
Its 10:34pm, your roommate Jen is singing some bs from a musical quietly in the common area as she browses reddit (you got her hooked on that lawless wasteland of a site), but you dont mind what she sings because her vibrato has healing powers, your roommate Christa is doing her homework. She's fully engrossed in it as she is the hardest working of all you lazy shits. Adam is on his Xbox in the common area, with his feet on Jen's lap. Every once in awhile he curses - he seldom uses bad language, except for when he is playing video games. The room is really calm. Your muscles are really relaxed and it feels great in contrast with how tense they've felt all day. Theres lavendar oil in your diffuser and you're still feeling a really calming buzz from smoking up earlier. You took a long walk around 7pm and stopped somewhere in the woods, smoking until you reached a solid 6. Upon returning Jen said "Having fun there Grayson?" With a shit-eating grin and you freaked out, but remembered she was cool. You have Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" playing quietly and your sheets are nice and cool on your legs. You were productive today and earned yourself some deep relaxation. You feel tranquil and content. You're in a good spot and can tell it will last.
