#future gaze

I started being interested in music since my childhood when I got cassette with album “Kill ‘Em All” by Metallica after what I understood it’s my passion. For me now music’s rather obsession, in another way like madness and I’m sick with it.

Most time of my life I devoted to life music in my band with my best friends. I’s guitarist and a lot of compositions were written by myself. One day it came to a standstill like creative crisis, problems with relationships inside collective and added to everything else our drummer left band, best friend of mine, so it was the final decision to dissolve our band. Some time later I tried to create and record compositions by myself but soon I lost my interest in life music at all and started to get interested in electronic music and hip-hop tried making and recording something in sequencer and finally appeared the first tracks of BΔDKΔRMΔ.

I want to note there was a big influence of WitchHouse in last releases and tracks but I never numbered myself to so-called Russian dark scene and in total WitchHouse culture. I haven’t any relation to this pseudo-occult motions in all what I do. I’m really worried and disappointed people make wrong thoughts about BΔDKΔRMΔ after listening early tracks. My each new single is a small step forward to what I really want to express in music. I’m trying to create maximum illusory magic sound blowing the listener in a world of fantasies and dreams far away from this frigging reality. My music is real escapism.

I like sound of analog vintage synthesizers often use samples of drum machine Roland Tr-808 and chose Fl Studio as a sequencer. I wrote better part of my tracks using Korg Microkorg. Recording I use midi keyboard and controller seldom because it distracts me from the process. Basically I use mouse in sequencer.

I’m inspired by many things especially by my inside world and my emotions and the other ones like: forest, film photography, pop, rock-culture of 80s and 90s, good cinema, I like psychological trillers, dramas, brutal horror, films of Hitchcock, books of psychology and I’m great admirer of porno-films.

Long ago I caught myself thinking that I can’t listen music in one style. I try to combine elements of different styles in my production. I like Trap, Hip-Hop beats, Ambient pads, shoegaz and WitchHouse noises, lightness and airiness of ChillWave, Wonky rhythm, melody of SynthWave, Pop and Rock of 80s.

I don’t think that I have achieved or come to something but my each track is attempt to create, give expression to my feelings and emotions, come true and pack all of this in a sound shape. Now music is becoming more material which empty with creation, it seems like in whole world factories are producing and stamping quality but heartless articles. It is music industry in one word. As for me I’ll stay lover not a professional, lover from the word “love”, I’m always giving my soul in what I do but often don’t find necessary response.
