Well you see anon, Candy's a person that doesn't like changes, and prefers things to be how they are. Any sort of small change will make her feel anxious and scared, even if she doesn't show it. As an adult, she grew to control it and be more relaxed, but it still troubles her.

Candy was absolutely scared when she found out she was pregnant. She had no idea what's gonna happen. She wasn't sure if she was gonna be a good parent, if there would be some sort of complication with her pregnancy, she was completely terrified about it.

But after some thought, time and company of her dear husband, she got used to it, going back to her laid-back attitude after some months. It's also difficult for Candy to get angry or lose her temper in any situation, so she didn't got mad at anyone, you know, chill as heck like good old Candy. She also didn't mind eating for two, she was happy with that xd

Just like Candy, Paula was scared with her first pregnancy since it was the time Voldemort came back to power. She was stressed, a bit irritable and she changed her mode a lot. She couldn't help it, since it was also due to her storng, loud personality. Luckily she wasn't alone in this, not only there was Barnaby to look after her and provide love, care and, most importantly, full patience with her, there was also Tonks who stuck with her and helped as well.

Later on Paula returned the favor when Tonks got pregnant. Best friends forever.

Paula also got pregnant 3 more times, but now she was used to the pains, contractions, and she could control her mood. Sometimes she would go to work pregnant, and she gave no chill kicking some Auror asses with a baby inside her stomach.
