favourite NHL team: The Washington Capitals! I've been a fan for about six years now!
favourite goalie: ugh it's actually a toss up between Holtby and my west coast favs goalie - Jonathan Quick. If I'm honest with myself, Holtby probably edges out Quick by a smidge or two
favourite forward: oof. this is a tough one... Nicky when he's not center, otherwise I know it's kinda cliche but Ovi. Wilson is quickly becoming a fav of mine too though. (Fehr, Chimmers, and Brouwer also deserve an honorable mention)
favourite defensemen: Nick Leddy, probably (Blackhawks). He's just fun to watch play, and I think he has enormous amounts of potential.
where do you hope to be and doing in 5 years: hopefully living in the Maryland area, moved out into my own place - maybe living in Rockville/Gaithersburg or Frederick/Hagerstown areas, or Columbia. And hopefully I'll be gainfully employed doing programming of some kind and putting this (soon to be) degree to good use
what's your favourite hockey moment? (mine or teams): anytime I get to hear John Walton call any hockey game. I particularly enjoyed the 11-12 playoffs when we faced the Rangers and I got to hear him call the "Good morning, good afternoon, and good night New York!" Also Wardo's ridiculous GWG against the Bruins in the first round of that playoffs was also a highlight for me
what do you love to do: reading, watching movies/TV shows, hanging out with friends, pyrotechnics, programming, graphing things/making charts (it doesn't matter of what), generally nerdy things (physics discussions, star trek discussions, BSG, LOTR, etc.)
if you're in, going to, or already been to college, what school do you go to: I am about to start my very last semester at the University of Maryland College Park. Go Terrapins!
what's one place you've never been to but really want to go: man. it's so hard to just choose one. hmm, I guess Spain (Madrid) or England (London) would top that list. Probably Madrid over London so I could go se Barcelona play a match at their home stadium
if you could spend the day with a hockey player in said place, who would it be and what would you do: Ovi, and we would play soccer together (hopefully with Messi too. Superstars do that kind of thing, right?)
