We have been sketching our ideas this week, in particular focusing on micro sites. My trail visits several micro sites, I sketched my design ideas for these sites in studio. On Wednesday I took the train to Britomart and walked the route again, taking notes and photos at each of my proposed micro sites so I can revise my map and designs. I sat for a while in Fort Street to watch the movements of people and vehicles, and I realised I needed to revise the installation for this micro site. I need the Fun Trail to be safe even though Fort St is a busy thoroughfare for vehicles. I also felt bad about wanting to move the pohutukawas that have recently been planted here. But I have an idea!

Fun jog/walk in Lone Elk Park today. The animals didn't seem terribly afraid of me today. Only one deer scampered away when it thought I got too close.
