What kind of paint are you using? I'd wipe down with rubbing alcohol first to remove any grease or dirt. I used to work in prototyping collectable figurines and we used acrylic. Use good brushes, two thin coats will look better than one heavy one.
Thank you! Yes I was planning on using acrylic paint. Cleaning it first is a good point though I probably would’ve skipped that 😅
