35. Opinion on love? Its a frightening thing to be that close to someone. I’ve always been really hesitant whenever it comes to matters (or things that could potentially become matters) of the heart. I don’t think love is something that should be taken lightly, but once given it shouldn’t be something easily taken back. Though, I’m not discrediting people that just “know.” I had a teacher in high school that married her husband of 30+ years after knowing him for two weeks. Sometimes you just know.

Not at all. Of course, its important to be attracted to your partner, but I think that the attraction doesn’t have to start out as physical. I think as people grow more emotionally and mentally attached to each other, attraction grows that has nothing to do with the physical appearance of someone.

I’ve certainly been attracted to people I’m friends with, but I’ve never had deeper feelings beyond friendship for any of them. They were just never that kind of friendship with the romantic frisson in the air lol.

140: Where do I want to live when older?I don't really know. I think DC would be a really cool place to live one day, especially with my job description. I'd like to get to live in Asia at some point for a few years. If I end up moving back to Texas, i'll probably end up in Austin tho. Austin is chill, man.

142: One of my scars, how did I get it?we had this big hill in my neighborhood in Singapore, and i decided to go down it on a scooter. i was going fucking fast, and i was dumb and went bare foot. and the break gets really hot when you press down on it because of science, so i thought that i had no way to slow down (which isn't true, i totally could have gone left or right to slow myself down gradually but i was seven what do you want from me). so, naturally, my only option was to leap off while i'm going thirty miles an hour. i scraped my knee REALLY badly. there was blood everywhere, and the adults were freaking out and i didn't want to say that i did it on purpose so i just sat there quietly. but now i have a scar on my knee from that. because i was an idiot. don't be an idiot.

144: Am I afraid of the dark?sometimes. not so much anymore. when i get really paranoid though, i can't sleep because i feel like i'm being watched. this even happens in my tiny ass dorm room where literally no one could get in without me noticing and being like, "dude, for real?" but it still happens. i was a lot more afraid of the dark when i was younger. i slept in my parent's bed until i was ten? and then sometimes if i got really scared in my room i would sleep on a mattress in their room on the floor. until i was 14 or 15.
