--------------------Editorial Comment----
Yes I know you tumblr folk aren't bags of money, Plus, I need 70 orders to get the top prize of an Ipad, plus you have no reason to, You have never been to my school, Nor do you actually know me, However If you want to get me an Ipad, then go ahead, Now I go ahead and show you my real goals, showing you how much $#!* this is...
Now first of all the Big Prizes are given by Orders, also the smaller, turn-in day prizes are also given by Orders, A miniumum order is 1 magazine, and the minimum price for a magazine is $10 (And that Is what we are gonna use as our cost of magazine variable) You have from 10/19 to 11/1 (10 Days) to sell as many magazines as you can, Apparently as the dude says, this is easy, Well the math says, to get the top prize, You need to sell 7 magazines per day every single day, I have sold 0, I am behind by 7 as of 10/19, Now with the minimum magazine purchase of $10, If you get an Ipad, $700 is made, minimum ($10*70). Thats not all, The School only gets 40% so (700/100)*40, 7*40, (7*4)*10, the school makes $280, the company gets the remaining $420, The ipad costs (quick google search) $320, the company gets $100, Now last year only 2 people got it to the ipad, the rest of us losers sold 3 or so and gave up, and with the time crunch in mind, You can see where the company is getting it's money from.
Now for the turn in day awards, 1 order, 50 cent duck that you could use to win money, Now if your any smart, and you just want prizes, you buy the ducks, tho theres a problem with that (and theres a reason the system still works) the only place you can really buy little plastic keychain ducks Is thru magazines, and the shipping is too slow, so you need to buy in advanced, however the ducks are chosen randomly for this purpose, For 12 orders you get all the ducks but 2, however that is $120 right there, so your probably better off with oriental trading ducky guesswork, however, Thats cheating, Now if your gonna do the ducky guesswork, you need to spend $30 in magazines so that they don't catch you, 1 magazine the 1st turn in day, 1 the second and 1 the third (you will have 3 subscriptions to crap-shit magazines) and even then, you will win about $10, not a good trade off, your best not messing with the ducks. Then the remote jammer, you get the thing for 3 orders, $30, you can buy the thing for $8, not worth it. Then 6 orders for a jumbo light up cup "for cash", Now this thing is so weird i couldn't even find it on the internet, but apparently its this big plasic cup that lights up when you lift it, also if yours has a green sticker on the bottom, you get about $10, Probably a scam. 9 orders gets you a pass to Skyzone, which cost $12 per person per hour when your out of school, and when your supposed to be in school (this is meant to be like a field trip discount) Its $8 per person per hour, 9 orders is $90, and since you going during school, they get the school discount... so its only worth it if you are going for 11.25 hours, which your not, so not worth it. Then on the next turn in day 3 orders and every 3 after gets you a chance to play the ca$h and bling game, 3 orders=$30 max winnings= about $10 (or 20 if you get the Justin Bieber Duck) N.W.I. Last turn in day, 3 Orders= chance at Wheel of Fortune game, about $10 max (20 bieber), scam, 6 orders ($60) VIP party (during math class, #jealous) giving away $500 total, in cash and prizes, You decide, 9 orders and every 3 after, chance to play power plinko max winnings probably 10, #scam, Do I need to reiterate that there is absolutely nothing in it for the students who are selling the magazines?
If I ran the school, My fundraizing program would be this, All the students learn to program facebook games, all the facebook games they make have to involve facebook credits, school gets all the credits, student gets information that they can use later in life and student also gets program used to create games, Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. If you want to buy magazines, please buy them from me and help my school give me homework, but please know that unless you really like magazines, I get close to n0ne. #hate #school
