It was a new day, and today Steve was out for school again. Being a senior, he can't miss as much as he usually could... But instead, Soda brought another friend with him today.
Soda and Two-Bit open up shop, cleaning up some of the mess the rats left behind before Soda went and turned to Two-Bit.
“Now, if ya see a green thing about, you holler. Y'hear?”
Two-Bit just laughed at Soda, nodding and 'yes'ing. “I'm hearin', Soda. You sure that weed you got from Iceland ain't making you see things though? Seems like it's one story after another with you.” Two-Bit sat on top of the counter, making himself comfortable enough to reach behind himself and grab a bag of chips off the display shelf.
Soda huffed and shook his head. “You're tellin' me! I swear, I think this job might seriously be making me go crazy! Ain't the weed though. No...” Soda stood there for a bit, he didn't realize how dizzy he was until just now. “Nah, that shit's still got me high and I only took maybe 4 hits off it.”
“You still got in on ya?” Two-Bit hopped off the counter and dragged Soda over to the stool to sit him down.
Soda scoffed, noticing the candy and twenty and taking them up. “Noo, it's at home!”
“Owh, well I guess I'll just head right back over— Hey!” Two-Bit had attempted to climb over the counter, before getting snatched back by Soda.
“Youuuu ain't goin' nowhere! You said you'd be my support since I'd be all by myself today with just one other! That being, er... AJ. And he ain't exactly the talkin' type.” Soda smacked Two-Bit's shoulders to pat some dust off of him and smiled big at him.
Two-Bit playfully pushed back and snatched a candy bar out of his hands. “Fineee... Where can I sit?”
Soda pointed to the floor. Two-Bit frowned.
“You don't got more of those stools?”
Soda opened up his own candy bar and took a bite, pocketing the twenty simultaneously. “Mm-mmh. We broke 'em all.”
Two-Bit cocked his brow at Soda, giving him that classic Two-Bit face. “How the hell you manage that?”
Soda smirked. “Threw 'em at some cars one night. Never got any new ones 'cuz Stacy was pissed.”
They both hooted and laughed, and eventually Two-Bit did in fact settle to sitting on the floor. But he wasn't exactly happy to be sitting by Soda's feet.
Thank you! We got it all situated, thankfully. I'm surprised the cops don't hate me with how often they gotta see my face.
Guess I'm just too pretty to hate! Haha!
