THATS SO FUCKING FUNNY I THINK THATS A GOOD THING???

Fun Mouse is indeed silly, don't get me wrong. But while he is fun and has his love of mischief (despite all that got him to the point he is now), he's not an entirely good person anymore. He has his moments of providing comfort decency, but he enjoys watching others hurt. He enjoys watching them suffer. His whole FNF WI story revolves around him deceiving BF into believing he can help change his fate, and he does...by ultimately, intentionally, worsening BF's life impossibly when BF does what needs to be done.

Yes, Fun Mouse's hatred and desire to watch others hurt stemmed from having been hurt irreversibly himself. But that doesn't excuse what he does, or the fact that he's done what he's done. He's evil in his own way. He certainly not Mickey anymore.

I like to think this motm form is something he can morph into and out of from his usual cartoonish, rubberhosey form as he pleases. Since he literally does not exist, he can be or look however he wants to.

Given his lore (I don't know if I've ever done a proper lore dump on here or not, actually), the MOTM cast — literally any character, take your pick — would have no way of knowing he exists. Not unless they broke reality in some way, most likely through causing a paradox of some sort.

And even then, they wouldn't get to know him for long. After he informs them of what they've done wrong (after bringing them to The Void — where he is stuck living), he'll send their reality to just before the incident that caused the paradox happened, then send them back, wiping their memory of ever encountering him or of the incident itself.

Knowing who he is could cause a whole other time paradox, if not tear that universe itself apart. Getting rid of the memory of meeting him saves him some time and energy in the future.

While he did fuse with his magic bag when he was cast out of existence with it (giving him his eldritch abilities), I did think about what his bag would look like it he didn't and just had it.

Fun Mouse was originally going to be a Felix instead of a Mickey, but due to a lack of design ideas (I couldn't even be 100% on a name dawg I knew ts wasn't gonna work out 😭 I was tied between Fun Cat, which I ultimately ended up using for Fun Mouse's 'name', and Gxd), I used Mickey instead.

This was the concept art for it! For anyone who wants the text in the image 👇

Title: "FUN CAT CONCEPT" ((annotation beside it reads "Gxd? Like the x theme Felix has? But for the word God?" I wasn't 100% with Gxd, because given the story I had at the time (and the majority of which Im still going with for Fun Mouse), this Felix was much worse than any god could ever be — he's an eldritch horror beyond understanding completely. You can understand a god. Beneath that annotation reads "can't even think of a good name ts gonna be trash •>^<•"))

Above the first head: "what the fuck are those eyes? NO"

Above the second head: "Too much Hysteria. W ref but no. NOT INSANE" (Like Fun Mouse, while there is mental illness and a slight instability at play, this Felix's actions would have been born from HATE. Hatred of the world he was thrown away from forever.)

Above the third head: "w ref but someone's gonna make a Murder Drones ref + I'm gonna tweak"

Below the heads: "Just move to color scheme for now ig"

Above the first body color: "Looks like Julius. No. Not the inverted vers either."

Above the second body: "I like this! But ppl may think I'm drawing Xilef of Alex with all the white" (this was the only part of the concept making process I liked completely for Fun Cat, and it was the inspiration behind the Memory Matter veins in Fun Mouse's design).

Above the third body color: "Gives Garfield in all the wrong ways" (no hate to Garfield whatsoever it just wasn't what I was going for lol)

On the left hand side leading to the bottom: "okay then ACCESSORIES MAYBE?"

Beside bowtie: "I dunno Felix doesn't feel like the type to wear a bow a lot..." (obviously I liked this for Fun Mouse, though, and kept this for his design)

Above head stitches: "cool ref but wrong au" (can't bring mlt into everything lol)

Beside hole in chest: "Interesting idea...shape it like a heart? ✖️ looks like shit"
