#full color eclipse

Seven years – the time between the previous full-length Street Sects record and these two – is more than long enough for me to have forgotten why I followed the project in the first place. Proustian flashes occur throughout Dry Drunk, rattling crunch and rollicking thump, but overall there’s too much thinly-produced cinema and not enough brutality. Full Color Eclipse differs in its pop, specifically in that it is largely simply synthpop with a filthy mind. Neither grab me.
