I am not one of those don't like don't read writers for fanfiction, and I don’t have a lot of respect for writers who are like that.
*This for genuine commentors and readers. This is not for the people who are namecalling, genre shaming, or the grammer groupies. This post is not defending you.
The reader clicked, asked, tried to read your work because they were lead into it. They read the bio, the tags, or even previous stories by the author. If a reader takes significant time to understand your work and had has opinions, take the constructive criticism. If you don’t want honesty and don't care about the readers you are writing for, don't write for the public.
Write a diary and keep it all to yourself.
You are not here to become a better writer, you are not here to join the community, you are a perfect example of being single minded. Why? How? Because ideas come from conversation and exposure.
If I commented on your story and it offended you, then you weren’t looking for participation from your audience. You aren't trying to share an idea, your trying to control the way people perceive the world.
If your opinion is Don't Like, Don't Read
My opinion is grow the fuck up or don't publish it. ♡
Why this post? Why now?
Wasting my time with fanfiction that people write misleading bios and justify it with DontLikeDontRead but not in the tags.
I'm about to mean girls this shit and post the most misleading fanfictions I've seen in Suits on ao3
