questions for the mun, regarding the muse!
#10what do you love about your muse?
PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF… Can I say a LOT and have that be an appropriate answer, ‘cause that’s pretty damn close!
There’s honestly so much I love about Wade. Jeez. I mean, to make it as short as possible so as not to throw this bad boy under a read-more for length’s sake, I’ll make a list?
he’s strong, despite everything he’s been through
he’s brave, even in times where he should be scared shitless
he laughs at everything, even when it’s as a defense mechanism; he won’t make you feel inferior or less than just because your joke might be overused or cliche
he loves with all of his being; if you have the luck of knowing wade wilson behind the mask, don’t let go. he’d die to put a smile on your face if he loves you
never EVER forget how powerful he is. he’s one of the toughest motherfuckers around, and he knows it
he won’t back down when he knows he’s right. hell, even if he’s wrong, he’s gonna fight
he’s stubborn, which would also be a thing to hate
everything and anything you throw at him will stick, and no matter how mean or harsh it happens to be, he’s gonna use it to be BETTER
tbh i just love WADE. i love his smile, his joy, his optimism, his outlook on life on good days, his advice to people in down situations, his love for all things otherwise ugly, his ability to make friends with a snap of his fingers, his laugh, the way his dimples show when he’s grinning like an idiot, the pride he always has when he’s on a mission, or when he makes someone happy or proud of him, the just…
everything. i love everything about my muse
#11what do you hate about your muse?
It’s such a hard question, just like the one prior, because there is a LOT to hate about Wade. A L O T. More things than ten people have fingers. So, this calls for another list!
he’s selfish ( sometimes )
he won’t take no for an answer ( not in that way, you meanies, jeez )
he has no problem shaming you when no one’s around to hear
he won’t hesitate to make you hate him at the drop of a pen
his scars ( in the sense that they’re GROSS; they’re always either infected or broken open )
his sense of humor ( sometimes )
his adoration for mexican food ( EAT OTHER THINGS FUCKING SHIT HEAD )
his stubbornness ( told you! )
his determination to involve himself in almost anything, no matter how limited a time slot it is
his love for people he’s never met ( hypocrite alert! )
just… ugh, i really love wade, with all my heart, BUT I FUCKING HATE SO MUCH OF WHAT HE SAYS AND DOES I JUST WANNA HIT HIM IN THE CHIN MOST NIGHTS
and then curl up with a book and a blanket and read him a story, the asshole
#13what about your muse makes you sad?
Fuck. This is a heavy one. One that might actually make me cry. Heads up for possible feels?
I think, at the top of the list of what makes me sad when I think about Wade, is how much pain he’s constantly in. I’m sure it’s not news if we have a thread, or if you read any of the threads I have with people, that Wade is an unhealthy and unstable person, but I never get time to voice just how…upsetting Wade is from a writer’s point of view.
It hurts to write as Wade sometimes, because I want to make him a happy, free, go-lucky guy, with no troubles or issues, no voices, no problems, no scars, no insecurities, none of what makes him himself, but… I can’t. And that makes me honestly so sad, because I can’t make life better for Wade. He can’t even do that, no matter how many times he ends his life or tries to drown his sorrows in liquor or food or the rare sexual conquest. Life for Wade will never get better.
It wasn’t good before he was Deadpool ( cancer, hated by many, had the girl of his dreams & had to live with the fact that she was going to watch him die LONG before she did ) and it never started being good. When he went through Weapon X, it got worse; the pain was exponential, the torture was extreme no matter how many smiles he put on through it all, or how many quips he spewed. Life was hard. It was hard when he was a child, a teen, an adult, and now, as a regenerating degenerate.
The scars don’t STOP hurting, they never will, and the voices will never REALLY go away, no matter how many times he hopes and begs for them to give him even a minute’s peace, and it honestly hurts me deep in my soul to have to write him in such misery and sorrow on a daily basis.
I guess, in short terms, the one thing that makes me the saddest about Wade is that there is no happy ending for him.
