I’ve been reading the Neverending Story to my sisters as a bedtime story, and I still love this book so so much!! Trying to figure out what I want their designs to look like, because I do want to draw more stuff from this book

THIS is what I was reading at nine years old?? no wonder I’m like this now #I love this book SO MUCH! I’m a movie hater though sorry #I was just SO disappointed when I watched the movie as a kid because it was SO BAD in comparison to the best book I’d ever read #And none of the characters looked the way they were supposed to #And then the movie ended just as before my favourite part of the book could start #Anyway reading this has been so much fun #We just reached the part where Atreyu is all on his own having just lost the amulet and is trapped in the city with the wolf #And it’s been so fun so far because my sisters are actually engaged with the story?? and they’re having all the right reactions and #they’re actually understanding most things that are going on! wow #I mean I have had to explain at least ten times what the nothing is supposed to be #Because they’re like what do you mean there’s nothing there! there has to be something! No!! that’s literally the point! there’s nothing!#But other than that j’s been so much fun

Happy Appreciate a Dragon Day! Today's dragon is Falkor from The Neverending Story, otherwise known as Fuchur from Die Unendlichegeschichte! I love the design of this dragon; the luck dragon is such a friendly character in the story. He has a lion's face with ruby-red eyes and pearlescent-and-pink scales; he was one of my favourite dragon characters growing up, so I am appreciating him on Appreciate a Dragon Day!
