I feel, as with many fugo ships, I enjoy them as a friends-with-benefits type of thing, but severely more fucked up, of course. I particularly like when Fugo is the initiator, whether it's from a hypersexual response to his past or some other sort of trauma response/justification. Maybe he wants to make up for bad sex. It's up to interpretation, as I don't think he'd outright give an answer. Hell, maybe he wouldn't even have an answer for himself.

Abbacchio, on the other hand, feels like he hardly has any morals left anyway, so what's one more? I think especially in the beginning he'd feel guilty and SO fucked up about it, but as time goes on and they have more and more flings, with more intensity as well, he starts to justify/normalize it in his head. He's doing Fugo a favor, really. He just so happens to get his rocks off as well.

They'd both still have to be sneaky about it, though. That much they know for sure. Neither of them thinks Bucciarati would take kindly to Abbacchio fucking a 16-year-old (or younger, depending on when they start), no matter how much Fugo would say he knows what he's doing. He's mature enough for the situation.

I think if there were to be any romantic attraction involved, it would almost definitely be on Fugo's end. Whether from the countless times of intimacy or what, I could see him developing some sort of unhealthy attachment to Abbacchio, whether it's truly romantic or just some sort of dependency. Idk if Abbacchio would reciprocate. I guess it'd just depend on how low his self-worth was at that time.
