There was a set of soft knocks against the opening. The maiden contemplated whether or not she should personally deliver the gift basket or set it atop the door mat. Deciding to opt for the latter option, she carefully sets down the arrangement and slinks back toward her motor bike after calling out, “Uh, delivery to Miss J.”
It is night, and it had stopped snowing not long ago. Soojung is home, and when she is home, there is nothing to do but take an eternal nap and so is she doing, snuggling against a pile of blankets and almost snoring, but it all stops when she hears a knock. It's unusual for her to get visits, and somehow her body enters in an alert state, and everything is threw away: blankets, pillows, hair and soon she's in a mess state, running down the stairs to take the delivery as said on the intercom.
When the mermaid finally reaches at the front door, clothes messed up and hair tied in a braid she did on the way down, all she can see with her sleepy but widen eyes is a girl, caramel skin and long, dark hair and a monster - or motor bike like humans preferred to call it.
Soojung leans down and takes the basket; in other situation she'd be trying to rip that bow off and trying to attack each one of the pastries, just to know the taste and then keep it for tomorrow (because it was chocolate and no), but not right now.
Right now, the red-haired girl was trying to wipe at the corners of her mouth, walking in the most calm possible manner to the other woman, somehow familiar to her, and the monster, where her eyes fall almost as automatically. "Are you...Did Ruby get a new helper?"
