How to Memorise Information
Memorisation Hacks
Information at high school/university is hard to remember throughout the course of the year. Down below is a list of the best ways to actively study to remember the information, regarding this:
Become Engaged with the Learning Material.
It is so much easier to remember what you like, because if you don’t like the topic and when you are trying to remember something it will be boring. You have to find a way to make it fun and enjoyable, though relating it to something you like that you have.
Visual Memory
This will enhance you to remember important facts and information. For example: How often do you forget where you left your phone? The next time you put it down somewhere, remind yourself of where you put it constantly to remember you've placed it and then in your mind blow it up. don’t forget that your memory is mainly visual.
Create a Brainstorm.
If you are trying to memorise huge facts and details, try to find a way to put them in your mind visually as a brainstorm or make one on paper and jot down all the notes you need.
Create a Mental Link
Create connections of information mentally to be able to piece parts together, which will more successful for you to remember it. Using acronyms actually improves memory.
Rewrite out the Items to be Memorised.
Writing out information in lists can improve memorisation and make you actually learn the lists actively. Write information down repeatedly (without copying). In doing this you are teaching yourself what you're trying to learn.
Good Luck!
