Resurrecting and re-exploring a color pallet for a planarian demon I made in 2016. I'm still unsettled on a name but use they/them as most of my demons do.

For this version I used a typical planarian pallet. I might experiment with other pallets though. I think back in the day I tried yellow but I wound up not liking it.

Traditional Bishur, I wanted to try out this ink block I bought and I had a sketch already to try it out on. I love drawing Bishur's folding fan wings no matter what form they are in..

#i don't think i got the ink dark enough.. the grinding pad thing i bought with it at daiso is plastic..#so i don't really know how it is supposed to make thick ink out of the ink block. perhaps i should be more patient #i don't mind the ink wash look though. it just streaks easily #my art #my ocs #demon oc #i'm kinda meh about the pose but it was more a material test anyway #traditional art #ft bishur #ft demons

Updated ref for Bishur the knowledge and progress demon. More expressions to be added to this ref soon but I liked how the true form and humanoid form looked paired together here.

They prey on mortal scholars by offering a longer life and offers to cut out annoying human distractions (sleeping, eating, social requirements) so that the scholar can study harder and produce results faster. This tempting alchemist-scholar special only costs the low price of their mortal soul (and frequent and intrusive requests of progress reports... obviously).
