never thought i'd see myself drawing minecraft fanart (or, arguably, naruto fanart) in the year of our lord 2025, but life has a way of turning out in ways you cant anticipate

listen, I just think folks gotta break from popular designs more often and get funky with it. also I gotta push my old man hermit propaganda. but I wouldn't mind fish hermit designs taking off either, that'd be fun.

wanted to get a quick Etho idea down to see if it could work. It's fun, bit silly, and I get to draw teeth. Scar needs a bit of work, but first drafts are never perfect, so we'll keep playing. He's such a fun dichotomy of Silly Goofy Guy persona and a guy who's genuinely scarily good at the game and bloodthirstily ambitious and eventually I'll capture that Energy.

i mainly want to draw him because he's got the Old Man bit going on and I want to draw him in evil scientist/toxic sludge situations. and turns out I didn't have trouble drawing his stache like I feared, so we stay winning.
