Pill bugs get their name because they roll up and look like little pills when they are scared. Pill bugs are commonly found in moist areas under wood logs, stones and thick organic matter. Sometimes called the sow bug or wood louse, this soft bellied insect has seven pairs of legs and pointy angled antennae. Pill bugs can be considered as pests of homes and gardens.  They can live for about two to three years.
