The parallels between Zelda and shadow are such an interesting dynamic to explore. Both have royal status and a duty to their respective kingdoms, both have innate light and shadow powers which parallel so well. Both had to give up their freedoms and self sacrifice for their countries. And both were raised to fulfill their roles. Zelda was always meant to be princess and Shadow existed for the sole purpose of fighting Link. And yet they turned out so differently? What was the same, what changed and how did it shape up their actions in their final hours?
