Stack Of Movies, Bricks and Minifigs, and Callouts
I haven't written anything since February, so now that I am, I'll be updating with how certain situations have gone. Such as, who is still working at Hannaford, how some situations have since been taken care of, and the change in some relationships.
Petya has moved on from the Bucksport Hannaford. Ironically, Mike became the fresh manager. On Petya's going away card, I wrote something along the lines of "I hope no one holds hands in front of you at your new store". It was just a joke, and she found it very funny.
Robert and Schultz have moved out. I'm currently living by myself. I think it's for the best. I want Tasha to come and live here, but I'm still waiting for her to take care of the shit she needs to do for her family. Which I understand. They rely on her pretty heavily, and leaving them in the lurch isn't something she wants to do.
The electrical cable that Greg plowed up and severed, which John Ladd then reconnected so we could have water, lived underneath a traffic cone until last week. Paul and I dug up the PVC pipe with a pickaxe and shovel, and then got the pipe out of the way and dug the hole a lot deeper with the tractor. It took six hours to do this. We fixed the original cable, but in the process accidentally ripped apart another part of the cable that had been haphazardly slapped together years and years before. I also had a pretty significant low blood sugar during the whole process, and got homemade food from Rez and Arlen at work for lunch.
Rez is mad at me currently. Some asian man was giving her a hard time at the seafood counter, and she came up to Taylor and I. She was bitching about it, and Taylor told her that she had dealt with him the night before, and that in the current situation Rez was dealing with the man was lying to her. Rez says "well, im not surprised, he's Chinese. Then she tried roping Taylor and I into agreeing with her that this man is Chinese so we shouldn't be surprised he's lying. I ended up reporting that conversation. I didn't want too. If it was just the original comment I probably would have let it go, but when she tried pressuring Taylor into agreeing with her "because women stick together" it left a really bad taste in my mouth.
Tasha and I are still going strong. I want her to live here and I will be doing everything I can to make the transfer as smooth as possible, I just don't have a timeline for that yet.
Also, Amanda left Hannaford, we have two new people since this post. Devon and Stevan. We had another woman whose name I don't remember because she worked for three days and quit. Ironically it was almost the same situation as Phiilip. We hired someone who had family connections in the store, and they last maybe a week before quitting. Weird.
