#frozen sperm

i just realised that when house asked cameron “did you lose someone? Did you lose a baby?” in season 1 during that one episode where the baby of the lesbian couple dies, and cameron turned around, looked at him dead in the eye and said something like “you can be a real ass sometimes/ you know that?” with those sad fucking eyes, she wasn’t just thinking about her dead husband, or the child they would never be able to have together. She was thinking about the frozen sperm. And that, although the hypothetical baby would be biologically his, they wouldn’t be able to be parents together. Or maybe she wasn’t thinking about that, i don’t know, but that’s how it hit me.
