7. are you a morning time gay or night time gay?

medea is morning, and so is anatole but out of habit more than choice (he got used to waking up early and now he can’t turn back). leonore is night time. sabine is afternoon gay.

12. what’s a turn off you look for before you start officially dating someone.

i think all of them would look for lack of emotional availability, dishonesty and lack of genuineness. i think none of my apprentices like people who keep appearances for the sake of it, impose their will on others, or do not have a level of emotional maturity they can work with.

individually, i think it’s very important for anatole to have someone who is intellectually stimulant enough. he is a person with a very busy mind, and he is someone who enjoys a good conversation. having someone who he constantly needs to explain himself to, without ever being understood so it’s never a conversation but an exposition would put him off. so would people who cannot respect his job.

leonore’s strong point is emotional maturity, so people he discovers have no will to grow, change, and work through their emotions would be a huge red flag. so would be jealousy and emotional manipulation. this is obviously a red flag everyone should have — and that i think all my apprentices do have — but it is specially important for leonore. he wants to find someone he can conquer the world (in his own away) with, not someone who will a. neglect him b. restrain him. it’s an important balance for him. you don’t have to be the best with your feelings (see: lucio) but you have to be willing to open up.

for medea she doesn’t like people who do not respect her capacity to make choices, people who only vent to her or are waiting for her to fix them because she’s an empath, and medea is really off put with people with a superiority complex.

sabine is a special one because they seem like the easiest going of my apprentices, but deep down, sabine does have a bit of a choleric disposition, so people who dismiss art, the wonders of the simple things in life, and people who are plain rude, don’t have a sense of humour or have no capacity to change would hmmmm not vibe with them.

“I was, a couple of times, not many but I can count two, three. I am right now, though, lucky me.”

“I don’t think I have? I mean, regardless of your gender if you can bench press me, carry me like a sack of potatoes, or crush a watermelon with your thighs, I’m sold my guy.”

10. Where do they keep their keys?

“On a kitchen counter, or an accent table, or I just never take them out of my bag in the first place. I need them somewhere I can see them.”

11. What is your OC’s morning routine?

“I wake up no later than 7.30 no matter how much I regret it (if I have the day planned, if it’s a free day I stretch it to 9), I brew coffee and while that happens I make the bed and tidy up some. I begin drinking my first cup of coffee, sometimes i put a hair mask before the shower. I step into the shower, do my morning face routine, get dressed, prepare breakfast, start my second cup of coffee. I check what’s up for my day and I read a little, perhaps have my third cup of coffee.”

“I go to bed ridiculously late so I usually wake up around 11am to 1 pm, I have a quick shower, dress, have breakfast and then I do as my heart tells me, unless I have important appointments I kinda have to put myself through. It’s pretty easy.”

“I talk to myself, I clean when I’m sad, I’m very specific about the way tables are set, I have a war declared on the colour chartreuse because it is simply the worst tone of green, and I plan even the days I will have free. I need to have a basic stable routine to live, and as long as I can perform that I can feel at home anywhere. Oh, and I wash linens way too often.”

Dee sits sideways with her legs over one arm and head resting on the other.

Santana sits on the top of the chair with her feet where the butt is supposed to actually go.

York sits like you’re supposed to but he’ll usually sit criss-cross-apple-sauce if the chair is big enough for it

I feel like in Dee, her determination to make others feel good about themselves, but not flattery, just with honesty, is a good trait

Santana it’s her energy and willingness to always include anyone in her fun and energy.

York’s is probably his kindness, and this gentle but ever present passion in everything he does.

Z4. what’s their dream pet?

For Dee, she would love to have some more dogs to play with Miele. She’s not very specific in what she’d want beyond that.

Santana would ADORE having something HUGE like a dragon or something. Or just a lizard in general. Lizards are neat!

10. What does your OC keep in a special drawer?

“Foul things.”

“I have specially categorised drawers for everything, so on that regard they’re all special, but I suppose I do have one with memory trinkets, pictures and the like, though that is a box, not a drawer. There is of course, the silk robe drawer, which are not the same as the hanged robes, those are for wearing outside.”

“And I keep very foul things on the night stand to the left of my bed, and neatly ordered in my closet too.”

“August, you’re not remotely subtle. I do hope you’re taking notes.”

“Be there at the time you said you would, it makes me feel like you genuinely want to see me. Let’s do something fun, where we can have a laugh but also talk, I need someone who is a good conversationalist, and also someone with ambitions or dreams, or cares about the world. I want to know about you. Perhaps dinner, perhaps a museum date. Playing ugly baby game is a great measure for people senses of humour.”

“Sneakily hold my hand, chances are I won’t realise.”

“If I let you put your hands on my ribs you won the jackpot.”

“We might go home, it depends on how much I like you, and lucky for you, Gus, I like you very, very, very much. One could even say I love you. Breakfast in bed, and Breakfast In Bed If You Know What I Mean, count as a second date.”

“I also like ridiculous dates you can kind of go into roleplay? Not roleplay, roleplay, but you have to admit it does sound ridiculously entertaining to have dinner at The Ritz and pretend you’re in this scenario or the other. We’d make it ridiculous, I’d laugh a lot.”

“I don’t like surprise dates unless you really know what I like or I have nothing else to do for the day, which is highly unlikely. And not a date, but I might send you flowers. It depends.”

“Don’t take me to the theatre or movies unless you actually know what kind of films and plays I like, and do not pretend to like classical music, operas or ballet for me because I will find out. Not that I think you will, and I know you’d go with me willingly, even if you’d drift away at some point.”

anatole: because his element is light, and his magic is light based (along with languages based, but allegedly it could be the same thing) the only aspect of physics he thoroughly understands and can handle are the parts related with light. he’s very interdisciplinary, so he does not see a reason why science shouldn’t aid magic. there’s a good portion of his notebooks dedicated exclusively to photokinesis.

leonore: he’s not very compassionate, but he is very empathetic. he’s very good at undoing emotional turmoil, if you manage to get him interested or wanting to help. he lives in a constant tightrope of ‘other people’s mess will tamper my freedom’ (fear of loss of freedom) vs. ‘the best way to live your life is with others’ (fear of abandonment)

medea: she’s a taurus sun, leo moon and scorpio rising. she sometimes makes mistakes out of overconfidence and pride, specially if she doesn’t double check what she’s doing. she does tend to double check, though.
