#not witcher#sab spoilers#kinda#somehow we went from#'oh netflix is starting to let you watch movies on their website instead of just sending the dvds that's cool :)'#to#'it makes sense the season feels rushed because they don't think netflix will give them another season so they can't afford slower pacing'#frothing biting#the actual pacing & story beats of shows should not suffer because its unclear/unlikely if Netflix sees continuing the show as profitable#or if itll ax the show & start another for more revenue#for fucks sake#streaming platforms are PLATFORMS FOR A REASON#they should be SUPPORTING THE SHOWS THEY HOST/ORIGINALS THEY MAKE#it should be streaming platforms supporting the shows/movies they host#not shows being axed after 2/3 seasons because it's more profitable for the service itself to end it prematurely and make another show#netflix stop prioritizing profit over continuing shows that are actually good/letting them tell their full story challenge (IMPOSSIBLE)#mine#i havent caught up but i still love what ive seen#and this take (as unfortunately right as it is) just makes me go....... bad timeline
