The Greek god of dreams makes a mental note to never use the bus again after one of the people he’s been visiting decided to sit next to him and ask him about where he saw him. Sure, Morpheus is reckless and childish but to reveal the fact that he has any kind of abilities to penetrate the latter’s dream is something he prefers not to do, it’s not like he was terrorizing him or anything, he’s been giving him pleasant dreams recently.  ❛  And i’m telling you that you’re crazy and don’t know what you’re talking about  ❜  he protests.

after watching a film, her eyes stared out the door as they exited the building. “rain again? it rained yesterday.” she huffed pulling her hood over her head. “i’m kind of getting tired of rain already. oh well.” the female was more of a fall kind of person. she liked watching how day to day the leaves would change color and how the days would be cool but just enough that a sweater or even a light coat was enough. “what did you think of the film?” she tilts her head looking up at the other curiously.   

( ♡ )  — SHE JUST WANTED TO STOP BY, making sure that everything was alright before she’d finally head home. she knew that she was later than usual, but her other job kept her busy and it wasn’t as if she intended to stay longer than a minute anyway. when she finally unlocked the door, she expected silence greeting her, seeing him safe and sound in his room, but instead rustling and clicking noises interrupted the stillness of the night and she almost rushed to his room, with the mindset of fighting someone today. her hand was on her door knob, ready to hit someone if it was needed, however the intruder she supposed to meet was no other than her employer herself. dark shadow rimmed his eyes and he greeted her with a big smile. “ it's nearly two in the morning, what are you doing up ? ” she muttered, before being dragged to the chair. “ i just wanted to check on you -” she tried to escape the situation, despite being curious what he actually was doing, but she was about to pass out from sleep deprivation. but before she could even protest a little more, music started playing, the sweet melody vibrating through her bones and muscles, causing her to bounce slightly to the relaxed beat, her ponytail swinging. the soft melody, made her feel warm and cozy inside and matched the season perfectly. it wasn’t anything too fancy but it touched her. “ it’s really good.” her eyes crinkled, “ it’s really soothing, it’s something i’d listen to before going to bed, it’s music you can fall asleep to. i mean in a good way, i like that kind of music.” hyorin put away the headset. “ do you have more ?” she asked, her eyes sparkling a little as if she was a child waiting for a present. “ no, actually.” she sighed, rubbing her temples, remembering the dark circle under his eyes and how tired he looked . “ you’re supposed to sleep, your grandma will be furious with me if you faint from exhaustion, you should go to bed now.”

Jinyoung could feel himself getting flushed by the younger’s joke and he’s so flustered that he doesn’t even know what to say until the other regains his composure and goes on to ask what Jinyoung called him for. Before answering, he makes a point of clearing his throat hoping it helps clear any sign there may be of embarrassment from his voice. “Actually... my parents asked me to go to a family gathering tomorrow and I was hoping you could come along.” He hated those family gathering. Hated the slew of questioning they always seemed to attract. Questions ranging from school to girlfriends. Or even just the way his parents would put him on a pedestal (metaphorically) putting him on display for any and all onlookers to gawk at. They obviously enjoyed the flood of compliments they got on their oh-so-perfect son as they continuously bragged about all his accomplishments to any and all who would listen. Always taking full credit for raising him when surely they both knew that couldn’t be further from the truth. “They’re always horrible and I thought it might be a little more bearable if you were there...” he trails off only realizing once the words had already been spoken that he was basically asking the other to sacrifice an evening to make his own a little better. “I mean- or not. I don’t know.”

yoonsoo head pressed into the palm of his hand, his eyes drop to stare at his tea. he sighed but didn’t mean for it to be that loud. he looked up at the other and exchange a soft smile. “sorry, i just haven’t been sleeping well. i don’t mean to be so loud.” yoonsoo embarrassedly chuckled shaking his head. a lot has been on his mind lately, his younger sister had visited him and caused him to worry a lot about her. she was living abroad which he didn’t quite agree with but wasn’t going to stop her. he tried to suppress his worried thoughts and focused on the other since he was looking forward to seeing the other.

   to get into a bit more detail, his philosophy when it comes to violence has always been the same, though not necessarily following any single person in particular. he uses violence quite liberally. he’ll use it as he sees fit, but there has to be a reason for it. he certainly has moments where he’s cruel, whether he’s using it as a way of venting his anger or if he’s in a bad mood, but there’s always some sort of a trigger. like he doesn’t go out & hurt people because he’s bored like a sociopath, it’s more along the lines of using violence as a means to an end & it’s true that he has no qualms using violence to fast track a result, but he’s not stupid. he’ll use violence, but he’ll be smart about it.

“Any special requests?” A quirk stumbled on the felines lips, casually regarding the stranger a table or two away. Cam had his acoustic guitar on his lap, he had been absently strumming to the faint songs that could be heard through the window - promptly stopping when one of his own had come on. It was a good enough excuse to down half of his iced coffee, his fingers still cold as he slid them back over strings. “What’s your favourite song?”
