frosh orientation!
i think everyone was pretty nervous when we first got here since we literally knew no one around us unless we surrounded ourselves with people we knew. the first part was a little awks cause the people in front of me introduced each other and pretty soon they were pretty close and clicking it off. i felt kinda awkward but thank goodness my roommate wasn't some crazy drug addict or alcoholic LOL i was praying that i wouldn't end up with someone awkward or strange. in fact, she turned out pretty talkative and easy to laugh with.
-the first day was so so tiring omg i wanted to nap but i couldnt :(
-the food there's alright. not super good, or maybe im just picky when it comes to food o.O their brownies and muffins were the bomb.com though.
-turns out a lot more people than expected were gonna commute. i thought i was gonna be a lonely child on the lightrail but i guess not! :D
-i realized that you really have to put yourself out there and talk to people LOL the group leader was so nice and helpful when it came to classes and breaking the ice between us. she happened to be a psych major too so that helped so much.
-we had around an hour or so of free time, but some of us went to the advising area for schedules. stayed up till around 12:30am and went to bed at around 1 after freaking out about schedules and classes and them fitting into the slots i wanted.
-pretty much orientation was a lot better than i expected. definitely worth the money considering the meals included and the icecream and free stuff we got LOL
on the other hand, these past two days have been frustrating.
it's hard detaching with someone whom you're extremely close to, but im just gonna trust God that he's got better things in mind for me.
