The gift of being a person who holds and guides others through transformation are the nights when voice after voice reports changes, and struggles (which I know leads to growth), breakthroughs, victories, and also the negative voices. The good, the bad, the ugly. All aspects welcome at the table. All aspects equally beautiful. As long as you keep showing up, even when you're slightly askew, even when you least want to, even when you're halfway to hell, showing up makes victory inevitable. Inevitable. My long class has changed names a few times but the women who join very rarely miss a call. They show up, they get mad as fuck sometimes, there are buckets of tears but they keep doing the work and they keep showing up. Inevitable. They WILL be victorious - what they don't see clearly is that they already are. Many times I end the call and have to have a little cry from all the feels, the energies, the love for all humanity from the irredeemable to the beneficent. When you are in deep identity shift there is an in-between state that can feel flat - dead - desert like - boring - dry white toast-ish. I'll be telling the women in From Wounded to Wise this evening about the in-between because some are in it now and some soon will be. It is a liminal space of tenderness and vulnerability. It can feel lonely. There can be tears and pining for the familiar bad feeling place that you've left behind. There can be grief for relationships lost or on their way out. In the in-between you need a lot of rest, pampering, homemade soup, soft speech, and encouragement to allow the process to unfold. In any change process you'll want to quit at around 3 days, 30 - 45 days, 90 days (we're at the 90ish day mark in From W2W), 6 months. At these points you'll want to drift and revert - don't. Stay the course, you'll pass the tipping point and slowly you'll come back to life as the new you. You're worth the wait. Keep up with what you've been doing that created space for change, rest, extra fluids, nourishing foods, permission to feel all the feels, and intense kindness. I won't sell recorded courses without some form of live support like an ongoing Facebook group page or email/Voxer. I prefer delivering them all live because if we could make major changes on our own we would have. We would've stopped buying courses long ago. I'm saving up for the Level 3 Human Design course and the Ovate level of my Druidry study. Frankly I've been a little chastisey with myself lately over spending on more training. I actually asked Team Invisible for a sign if I should knock it off already. Yesterday I remembered that #Projector types are here to learn and then share/guide others. Tonight someone I respect said she respected people who seek not only to know but to have mastery of a subject they're passionate about - I'm paraphrasing of course but it made me very happy. Human Design is about loving everything about yourself no matter what. No one can be you but you. You like studies that lead to certification and degrees - great. You dropped out of high school and never went back - also great. The thought of public speaking lights you up - wonderful. The idea of public speaking makes you feel more than a little urpy - also wonderful. You can't recall ever being depressed - fabulous. Melancholy is your experience more often than not - also fabulous. On this full moon night can you see all of you for what you are? Simple energies arranged in lovely patterns. A fractal within a fractal reflecting fractals of God. Straightforward light and deep velvety shadow. Complex emotion and comfortable numbness. An orphan, a reject, a social butterfly, a queen. A man who wears flannel, a man who wears lace. A child in a cage, an adult working to cut the lock. One afraid of the dark and one making candles. We are all the things and none of them. There are, and always will be, a lot of big name coaches that use big sleazy sales tactics. Getting you into semi-trance states, taking you into childhood trauma (aka practicing therapy without a license) and then inserting sales prompts while you're vulnerable - all tried and true methods to increase sales. They're not going to quit but you can be self-responsible and quit falling for it. If you have a lot of open space in your #humandesign you're going to need to be extra careful to step away from the presentation, webinar, or video series to clear your system before making a decision. Do not fall for the buy now or you'll suffer forever or think how much this is costing you song and dance. Take some time, at least 24 to 48 hours before deciding. I'm not saying what they have to teach isn't valuable it may well be. I'm saying check with your body's Authority before handing over your sweet moolah because it may not have value for you at this time.
