was discussing this with my partner yesterday but i think one of the radfem ideologies ppl just blindly follow is the universal “girlhood” or “teen girlhood” that they associate with ppl who were coercively assigned female at birth (whether it be in joy or in suffering) and i have so much beef with agab language tossed around casually but it really gets to me. i’ve had multiple conversations lately where people try to loop me in by going “well you know what it was like being a teenage girl” n it’s very awkward to be like “actually i don’t! i was a boy when i was a teenager.” like actually my existence disproves the essentialism you attempt to preach, thank you tho!
