News About Pokémon Home, FRLG Connection, as Well as Bank
FRLG will be able to connect to Home starting October 2026
Completion reward of the Kanto Pokédex is Celebi (not shiny), no need to actually transfer your Pokémon to get it (one way transfer like Go).
Home storage increasing from 6,000 to 9,000. No price increase or additional charge.
Now the sad news; Pokémon Bank is set to end February 25th 2027, 7pm pst / 10pm est.
If you have any Pokémon in Bank, you must transfer back into the 3DS games or Home or they’ll be lost forever.
My personal theory; I think Spinda was the one Pokémon keeping Bank alive, since transferring from Bank is the only way to get it into Home. So they’ve either figured out how to get Go and BDSP to transfer Spinda, or this is confirmation that ports of RSE are coming out soon (there’s been rumors these last couple days).
Either way this is very disappointing. My only hope is the homebrew community can come up with something to keep it alive. Although it being able to connect to Home this way might be debatable if they completely close that connection on Home itself.
