AdviceSisters.com: Two Must-Have Beauty Picks You’ll Love Too
Advicesisters.com calls out products that we like. This story features two beauty picks. There is one for the face and a brand of frizz-fighters for hair. Cleanse With The Delightful Scent of Citrus: Beauty picks we love include a newly discovered solid cleansing balm in a jar. Perfect One Focus Smooth Cleansing Balm smells delightful with citrus, fresh orange, and bergamot. Remove the inner…
I bought the conditioner of my youth without thinking and had an existential crisis in my shower.
Here's my hair after it has almost entirely dried. It doesn't have as many flyaways as usual, and it's very soft, so the Frizz-Ease products seem like a good choice. The heaviness with the conditioner went away as the hair dried. Hooray!
Frizz-Ease Smooth Start Products
My hair is color-treated and fine with a bit of frizz. As such it's always been a struggle to find hair products that reduce the frizz without making my hair look limp or oily. For years I've used Kerastase's Chromo Reflect products, but they just changed their formula and it seems to not work quite as well on my hair (plus it's super-duper expensive!)
On a whim I grabbed a tube of Frizz-Ease's Smooth Start shampoo and conditioner during a trip to CVS. I was blown away by how my hair looked (and smelled!) after my first use. I swear it took half as long to blow-dry and was smooth, shiny and bouncy.
I went back to CVS that afternoon and picked up the Sheer Solution Lightweight Frizz control lotion and Secret Weapon Finishing Creme and washed my hair again just to try them out. This stuff rocks! I finger-combed a bit of the lotion in my wet hair, blow-dried it and then ran a bit of the finishing creme through the ends. My way-overdue-for-a-haircut hair looked freshly done and the style lasted pretty much throughout the day.
I'd highly recommend these products to just about anyone, just wish I found them years ago! I still love my Kerastase Lotion Desensitive for volume, and will never part with their Elixir Ultime for styling and shine, but I will definitely peruse CVS again the next time I need a new product.

John Frieda Frizz-Ease
I have never been very good at doing my hair. Anything that makes my hair prettier without much fuss is a great product for me. I got a sample of Frizz-Ease from Bzzagent.com. I have to say I really like it. First of all, I usually only make it to the putting it in my wet hair step, and it still ends up looking better than usual. When I actually blow dry my hair of course it's even better. This is an easy product to use and it gives good results.
