water tower??
Frisbee team bonding was wonderful- so many of the new players showed up and it was grand. We went to the water tower party- I'd never been, so I thought why not? Well we got there a bit early, and I decided to peace out after maybe 30 minutes. Anticlimactic, but as I was walking down the Delles hill, many people were heading to the party. Figures. I also danced on a table for the first time. Whata time.

free lunch and frisbaes
I was only supposed to have one meeting today, but another one popped up last minute, and I managed to get free lunch out of it because it was right during lunch time. Hoo-rah! Played pickup in Northampton today at Oxbow. Pickup is essentially frisbee with a bunch of random people in the area for the summer. Evan was there, and looked homeless because of his dirty shirt and hair that wasn't even remotely under control, several of my teammates were there, and a lot of random dudes from Amherst and UMass ultimate teams were there. And my god were some of them were gorgeous. But I digress. It rained towards the end of the game, which made seeing nearly impossible with rain-covered glasses. But I began to break in my new Adidas cleats, so that's a plus. Tomorrow I go to Tidmarsh- YAY! Just for a few hours to figure out how we are going to set up our experimental plots and such. I'm honestly to pumped, it'll be great.
2016 Practice Schedule
Hey ladies! You read that right, we’re practicing together this year before State’s! We’d like for people to show up to as many practices as possible to get to know each other and help our team be the best it can be. Practices will consist of some fun activities, drills, scrimmaging etc.
All practices will be held at Grandview Heights High School on Thursdays from 6:30-8:30.Â

There's so many lovely, lovely people who play frisbee, but the friendliness means it can some times be difficult to call whether the guy talking to you is just being nice to the new girl, or a little too interested in you. I'm totally okay with turning people down (in the nicest way!) but it's always so awkward. Especially since I'm still getting to know everyone, and I think he got the very wrong end of the stick. Oh well.
