These answers may be short so I can speed run this. Gently throws a blanket on your head -- buckle up!
Does your character have siblings or family members in their age group? Which one are they closest with?
Yes; Aether! Aether's older by a few minutes, and he's the only family she has. Before Genshin, they've always been super close.
What is/was your character’s relationship with their father like?
Unknown; I'm gonna run with the theory that they didn't have a whole lot of interactions with either of their family members growing up, and mainly relied on each other.
On an average day, what can be found in your character’s pockets?
Yes. No, seriously. This woman somehow has a bag of holding in her pockets because do you sEE how much stuff is in your inventory in Genshin?
Does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares?
Yes. Mainly around abandonment or failure.
Is your character’s current socioeconomic status different than it was when they were growing up?
Yes -- and this is a general sort of answer for her verses collectively. Lumine and Aether didn't grow up poor, but Lumine went up in status the more she worked towards changing that.
In what situation was your character the most afraid they’ve ever been?
When the Unknown God came and threw her into another world. The second is when Aether left back through the Abyss portal in her Traveler canon.
Is your character bothered by the sight of blood? If so, in what way?
She's not bothered by it, but will get concerned if a large amount is coming out of someone.
Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?
She isn't, due to her profession/s. She rather have the memories than be consumed with either money or material needs. She does own a few charms and bracelets as commemoratives, however. Small things that are reminders of a time/person is all she needs -- outside basic necessities.
What was your character’s favorite toy as a child?
uHHH..... I'd have to go with a stuffed animal of some kind? Honestly, I can't quite pinpoint something for Lumine outside of that. She might of had one for a time growing up, or it would of been a training weapon that she'd take everywhere and play pretend with.
What is your character’s biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?
This was hARD. I think her stubbornness, alongside the fact that it takes her a long time to open up. She’s aloof because it’s a defensive mechanism, and it’s certainly destroyed relationships before.
If something tragic or negative happens to your character, do they believe they may have caused or deserved it, or are they quick to blame others?
I feel as if she’s the type, despite the severity of what’s going on in the moment, to understand where to put the blame. She’s not quick to blame others, but will try to look at things as they happen. There’s a few cases where she does believe that it was her fault, such as, in her Abyss Princess verse, she was part of the cause for Dain’s immortality curse.
What does your character dislike in other people?
Arrogance in the sense of what people think she can accomplish for them. Upon arriving to Teyvat, she’s often asked to do errands, and thus people have taken advantage of her kindness. She also dislikes getting involved with politics, and will often leave if she thinks that she’s being taken advantage of.
How quick is your character to suspect someone else? Does this change if they are close with that person?
Hmm... I think she isn’t the type to quickly jump to conclusions, unless the person is caught in the act. I don’t think it’d change - much, anyway - if she’s close with them.
How does your character normally deal with confrontation?
She tries to remain logical, however certain situations will invoke more of an emotional response. She’s not the type to allow herself to be walked on, and because she’s experienced so many different people and their behaviors, she’s learned to pick up on certain red flags. However, there are times where she knows fighting will be the only resolve, and won’t turn away or back down - unless needed, as in a serious injury or the risk of death is too high.
What did your character dream of being or doing as a child? Did that dream come true?
I can’t say for sure, but I think she achieved a bit of her dream. To travel and be with her brother - well until Teyvat happened.
Describe a scenario in which your character feels most comfortable.
Long blades of grass rest at her hips, fingers gently gliding over the blade tips. Beside her is someone she trusts, even without their hands touching the security of their presence is draped over her shoulders. Small moments like these are which always bring comfort - for time is at a standstill and the moment can last an eternity.
In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?
She’s the type to take the criticism and improve, even if it’s just for the short amount of time she’s in that world.
How does your character behave around people they like?
Lumine becomes more expressive! Usually, she doesn’t wear much of her emotions on her face, but over time she’ll being to smile more, visibly become relaxed, etc. If she’s someone she has a romantic crush on, after three or so months, she’ll begin to seak out their company more often.
Is your character more concerned with defending their honor, or protecting their status?
Defending her honor!
Has your character ever been bitten by an animal? How were they affected (or unaffected)?
She’s probably been bitten by all manners of animals at some point or another I think. Most of the time it hurts, and she manages to bandage herself up. Even after being bitten, it doesn’t stop her from trying to interact with the animal once she’s healed.
Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?
I’d say it’s a 80%-20% ratio of earn to deserve. She rather work for what she wants than expect it.
Has your character ever had a dependent figure who was not related to them?
This is all verse dependent. The first person that comes to mind is Dainsleif, however, so we’ll go with him.
What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?
That’s a bit of a hard question. She believes that she’ll become stardust, able to watch those she cares about from afar. In a way it does - even as an immortal being of some kind, and/or with the ability to jump through worlds - even death scares her.
