A customers desktop computer had been getting hot recently, and started acting up. I opened the computer up, and there was a layer of dirt, dust and buildup. I blew the computer out with compressed air to clean it out, but it had been too late. The buildup had caused the computer to overheat and fry the hardware inside.

A customer brought in a computer with a fried modem. We purchased a new external modem and installed it and within an hour had her out the door with a working computer and modem.

apparently my modem has been fried
So there was this big storm raging over Berlin this night, and I had my windows open because I glubbing love storms (I even pondered going outside and taking a stroll at three in the morning), and then I notice some rain droplets spraying across the five metres from my window to my bed. I stand up, and the metre in front of the window is pretty much soaked (yay for pvc floor). I close the windows, get a towel to dry things up, and then I notice that my modem’s lights are off, and that it’s slightly sizzling… (my router was hit by more water, but it’s still alive and well) So I dry off what I can and go to bed. Wake up at 9, modem is still dead… :( I hope it ressurects again today, otherwise I’m out of internet unless I’m at university. (I’m at the university library atm, sitting in the longue, mooching electricity and internet xxD)
