#WaybackWednesday: Last August in Downtown Troy, NY, I had to stop and capture the tie-dye Psychedelicatessen beetle bug car that was parked along the front of their store on a warm summer afternoon. I had never seen a car that was all decked out in tie-dye like this beetle bug car before and it caught my attention. This week, I found out that Psychedelicatessen will be closing their doors on June 14 due to financial issues. I enjoyed going to their shop from time to time to check out the art that hung along their colorfully painted walls while stopping to purchase a bagel to eat and a warm or cold tea to drink. They had great food & it’s a shame that they will be going out of business. Thank you Psychedelicatessen for your great food and drinks and for providing great business into the City of Troy, NY! Thank you for also supporting local artists and giving them a space to showcase their art! I wish you much success in your future endeavors. Please go out to your community to support local businesses, local artists, musicians, and your local community overall!!
