Frybuur dump from an unusual angle
Did you know the neighborhood of Auge and Neuveville (aka Basse-Ville, âdowntownâ) in Fribourg/Freiburg (CH) is only of the oldest, biggest, most well preserved medieval settlements of Europe in in terms of gothic architecture? Most buildings are still made of the same molasses since the 16th century, but some date back to the 12th century, like most fountains, churches, or the Cathedral that towers over it.
Iâm so happy I get to see the wonders of craftsmanship whenever I walk out of my house.
