Evan had always had a bit of unease towards the Death Eater missions no matter how much he tried to swallow it, but he was entering this one with a lot more to prove. He’d just come out of a bender, not unusual, but he was down one ally amongst the group and he knew that he couldn’t mess up. Not only had this mission been important to the group as a whole, but also Cousin Bella, who’d had a few more losses recently and was in demand of a win and merlin help anyone who got in the way of that. Evan couldn’t be the weakest link this time, and if he’d been left to his own devices that may have been the case, but with a newly clear head and Freya by his side he felt that maybe he wouldn’t be the fuck up he’d been punishing himself for being these last few weeks. Eventually, the two would have to split up, but that wasn’t going to be until after the attack had really gotten underway.
The time ticked slowly until the starting time, some of the death eaters had been in position inside the hospital and some were coming from the outside, they were part of the group who’d be coming in. After all they had no reason like Alecto or others to be lingering in the building. With his mask tipped up to show his face, there was no reason to hide his identity yet, especially his sister, he smiled towards Freya. “ Well this isn’t exactly what I had in mind when you said you’d take me out more, but I guess throwing yourself into it is what you suggested.”
