Ahhhhh ;;;;Please guys, there are a lot of things that will be sent to us over the next month and it is important that we be able to contact you.

In other words, PLEASE DON’T CHANGE YOUR URL FOR HALLOWEEN/END OF YEAR HOLIDAYS.

I know you want to be festive and I know you like to celebrate online by decoration your tumblr as you would your physical house, but please guys, try and understand just how difficult it is to find you and to update your info in our multiple docs when you do this. I know that most of you wont even bother to tell us and consequentially if we are not able to find you, you may be booted from the event. I ask you that, from now till the end of the event, to please refrain from changing your URL unless it is an urgent matter (ie. bullying).

It is /not fun/ to have to track down 60 users and then have half of them go mia (because if you have no posts tagged with your name like an ask that will change to your new URL, then you are very hard to find). Even if we do find you, we have to change your name on 3 separate docs and the participants list itself which is a lot of work to do. Myself and the others running this event have already poured hours into organizing this and helping it run smoothly, so I ask you not to put any extra work on us then there already is. (especially now with school and work).

Please try to understand, and if you simply must change your URL, then we need to be updated on that every single time. Even if you made a spelling error or you are just tweaking it, we need to be informed.
