The Kingdom of Heaven is Near.
In this Bible passage, Jesus gave specific instructions to His disciples. He told them to whom they should preach, where they should not go, what they should preach, what they should do. Jesus loves the samaritans and the gentiles, but at that particular time He sent the disciples to the lost sheep of Israel.
One lesson from this passage is that when you have a close relationship with Jesus as His disciple, then you will be given clear instructions for where to go, what to do, what to say.
“These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.”—Matthew 10:5-8 NKJV
